Maintenance Mechanic Job Summary Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic in Salt Lake City, earning $21-$25 per hour while keeping critical equipment running smoothly. You'll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where your mechanical skills directly impact production success and equipment reliability. What You'll Do 

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, vehicles, and facility systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues using technical manuals and schematics
• Operate forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, and excavators safely and efficiently
• Repair and maintain small handheld equipment including spray guns, air tools, saws, sanders, and grinders
• Conduct preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inspection documentation
• Support production teams by identifying potential issues before equipment failure occurs
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and lockout/tagout procedures in all maintenance activities

 What You Bring Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years maintenance or equipment repair experience in manufacturing or construction
• Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, and excavators
• Strong mechanical aptitude with multi-system troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and work in various positions for extended periods

 Preferred:

• Technical or trade school education
• Basic electrical, HVAC, and plumbing system knowledge
• Experience with small handheld equipment and power tool repair
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
