Automotive Painter's Helper Job Summary Join our automotive refinishing team as a Painter's Helper and earn $16-$20/hour based on your experience. You'll work hands-on preparing vehicles for paint and supporting skilled painters in a fast-paced body shop environment. What You'll Do 

• Prepare vehicles and parts for painting using proper masking, priming, and sanding techniques
• Sand and prime vehicle surfaces to ensure smooth, professional finishes
• Mask vehicles precisely to protect areas not being painted
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety protocols
• Track time spent on each project and communicate progress to painters
• Alert painters to any issues or additional work needed on vehicles
• Assist with shop workflow to keep projects moving efficiently
• Operate forklift for moving vehicles and equipment
• Handle local deliveries and parts pickup as needed

 What You Bring Required:

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work in dusty environments with paint and chemical compounds
• Physical ability to stand, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors

 Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with automotive body repair
• Familiarity with vehicle preparation techniques
