Customer Service Cashier JOB SUMMARY Join Park City's finance team as a Customer Service Cashier where you'll serve as the primary point of contact for all city payments and customer inquiries. This temporary position with full-time potential offers Monday-Friday hours and competitive pay in beautiful Park City, Utah. RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Process the majority of payments for the City of Park City, ensuring accurate financial control of all incoming monies
• Handle payments for fees, fines, assessments, and other city services while maintaining proper accounting procedures
• Research and determine appropriate account codes when departmental accounts are not immediately apparent
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal staff and external customers in person and over the phone
• Answer the Citywide Customer Service telephone line and direct calls to appropriate personnel and departments
• Balance daily receipts against cashiering totals and prepare accurate bank deposits each business day
• Maintain organized filing systems for daily deposit reports and deposit logs
• Reconcile multiple department daily reconciliations to ensure monthly accounting accuracy
• Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail and various accounting reports and documents
• Process and charge all outgoing mail to the proper departments

 QUALIFICATIONS Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial transactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software
• Professional demeanor when interacting with the public

 Preferred:

• Experience with municipal or government operations
• Background in accounting or bookkeeping
• Experience with multi-line phone systems
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and reconciliation processes

 SCHEDULE & SHIFT Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM COMPENSATION $30.00 per hour This is a temporary position with excellent potential to become a permanent, full-time Customer Service Cashier role based on performance.
