Finish Painter Job Summary Join our decorative painting team as a Finish Painter in Salt Lake City, earning $24.00-$28.00/hour based on experience. We're looking for a skilled artisan who takes pride in creating stunning faux finishes and specialty textures that transform ordinary surfaces into works of art. What You'll Do 

• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure perfect finish adhesion
• Apply paints and decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment with precision
• Match and mix colors to exact specifications for seamless results
• Execute specialty techniques including glazing, stippling, sponging, ragging, and advanced faux finishes
• Create realistic textures that replicate wood grain, stone, metal, and other materials
• Perform quality inspections to maintain our high standards throughout each project
• Maintain organized, safe work areas and document project progress
• Collaborate with project managers and team members on residential and commercial projects

 What You Bring Required:

• Proven experience in finish painting or decorative painting techniques
• Strong understanding of color theory and paint application methods
• Proficiency with professional painting tools, brushes, and spray equipment
• Physical ability to lift materials and work at various heights safely
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally (10-20% of time)

 Preferred:

• Experience with advanced faux finishing techniques like trompe-l'œil or plaster applications
• Knowledge of fiberglass or GFRC patching and repair
• Valid passport for potential travel projects
