Setup Technician Job Summary Join our fiberglass and composites manufacturing team in Salt Lake City as a Setup Technician, earning $20-$26 per hour based on experience level. You'll play a critical role in preparing molds and materials for high-quality composite production using advanced RTM processes. What You'll Do 

• Clean, wax, and seal fiberglass molds to ensure proper release and surface quality
• Cut and lay up fiberglass mat, cloth, and reinforcement materials according to specifications
• Operate Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) equipment to inject resin into prepared molds
• Monitor curing cycles and safely demold finished components without damage
• Trim, grind, sand, and buff composite parts to meet dimensional and surface finish requirements
• Inspect parts for defects including gel coat inconsistencies, air pockets, and surface imperfections
• Perform minor mold repairs and maintenance to keep production running smoothly
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 6S standards and safety protocols

 What You Bring Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and process sheets
• Experience with hand tools and power tools (grinders, sanders, cutting tools)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions

 Preferred:

• Experience with fiberglass, composites, or RTM manufacturing processes
• Background in gel coat application and repair
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 6S practices
